Notes from a hybrid practice
My career began in fashion design, where I created highly personalized garments that allowed individuals to express their identity rather than follow trends.
My career began in fashion design, where I created highly personalized garments that allowed individuals to express their identity rather than follow trends.
Over time, my curiosity expanded beyond designing objects to understanding how societies anticipate change.
This interest led me to explore foresight, cultural signals, and how creativity shapes people's imaginations of the future.
In 2018, I began organizing participatory artistic events in Bucharest that combined art, reflection, and audience engagement. These interventions encouraged people to observe social change more consciously and reconsider their role within it.
After moving to Rome in 2019, I worked at the Romanian Academy, organizing exhibitions and cultural programs that connected Romanian artists with international audiences.
During the pandemic, I became increasingly interested in how emerging technologies were reshaping work and identity.
This led me to develop Future Jobs Design, a methodology that helps individuals rethink their careers and intentionally design their next professional chapter.
Alongside this work, I began teaching design thinking at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. This experience led to the launching of the Creative MBA, a program I currently direct, designed to offer business education to creative professionals.

This talk moves through art, fashion, community-building and cultural foresight to make one argument: the future is not built in isolation. It is built through bridges — between people, disciplines and ideas. I share a project where I brought strangers together to co-create a manifesto in response to media distrust and fragmentation. What came out of that room was not what anyone planned. Watch the TEDx here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xq_42cYDgqY

My research sits at the intersection of creativity, work and artificial intelligence. As a PhD candidate at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, I study how creative professionals adapt when automation reshapes their field. I am less interested in the technology itself and more in the humans navigating it: how advertising professionals resist and reframe AI, how design thinking evolves when machines join the process, how organizations build teams that can hold a mission under pressure. What I find in the university, I test in practice. The two are not separate.

I speak at events across fashion, culture, and the creative industries on the future of work, the role of art in a changing world, and why career transitions are better understood as design challenges than crises. At Mercedes-Benz Bucharest Fashion Week (2025 and 2026) and the FIC Festival in Chișinău, I brought this perspective to audiences ranging from designers and entrepreneurs to cultural leaders.

In 2021, I founded Future Jobs Design as a methodology for people navigating professional transitions. The process starts from who you are: your values, your transferable skills, and where you want to go. Over four years of testing and iteration, it grew into something larger than a workshop. In 2026, Future Jobs Design became a Romanian non-profit association built around one idea: people deserve work that fits who they are, not just work that is available. We work at the intersection of design thinking, foresight and skills mapping, supporting individuals, industries and the broader conversation about what the future of work should look like in Romania and beyond.

I taught Design Thinking within a master's program, introducing students to creative problem-solving, human-centered research and innovation frameworks applied to business. Teaching is where I first tested what would later become the foundation of the Creative MBA.
